Pavilion 101 (Rong Beer)  (Map #4)  (โรงเบียร์)
Open 7 days a week. Two bands sing mostly Thai and Issan music, sometimes English songs. Drinks are cheap (Big Singha beer is around 65 baht) and you can order food. No cover charge and always MANY people there, especially Saturday and Sunday. Good place to meet people but difficult to talk because the music is loud. You can bring your whisky there...

Langma Lism (Map #7) 
Just in front of the Pavilion 101, another place with a band that playing songs. Smaller and quieter than the pavilion. If quiet can be found in a Thai bar...

ONO (The only one) (Map #10)  (เดอะ โอนลีวัน)
A kind of DISCO without a dance floor! This HUGE place has a great show starting around 11:45 PM and ending before 1:00 AM. Nice place to meet young people. Normally no cover charge for foreigners. A can of Heineiken is 70 baht, and a big bottle 190 baht. Bottle of whisky (SPEY) with ice and soda water around 490 baht. When it closes, around 1:30, a bar beside called “Underground” opens and you can eat and drink over there, until 4:00 AM! ONO is one of the only bars that you CAN NOT bring your whisky (or they will charge you a cover charge).

Mai Thai Karaoke Bar (Map#9)
Located on the third floor of the Mai Thai Hotel, it is a nice typical Karaoke Bar with a big screen and 'karaoke girls'. One of the only places in town opened after 2 AM with the underground (ONO).

Good view (near #18)  
Near the artificial lake, only around 15 tables outside. Opens  at 7 PM. Music isn’t too loud and diversified (Rap, Dance, Rock, Thai, Etc). Beer is cheap. Avoid this place in the rainy season!

The rock (in front of #5 on the map)
A new place in front of Petcharat Garden Hotel. It still has the logo of it's last name 'MAG MARINA'. Dance and Techno Music with DJs. The young crowd arrives late (after 11 PM). It closes around 1:30 AM.
