Roi-Et city Hotel (โรงแรมร้อยเอ็ดซิตี้)78 Ploen Chit Road, Amphoe Mueang (78 ถ.เพลินจิต) Big hotel nicely located in the center of the city. Rooms are around 900-1200 but it's nicer at the Petcharat Garden Hotel.

Roi-Et is a province located in the middle part of Northeast Thailand (Issan).
It used to be a very large and glorious city named Saket Nakhon having 11 city gates and 11 satellite cities or subordinated communities under its ruling. The name Roiet means "101", in reference to these 11 gates and satellites.
